(“Alu Ancient Cave” is the language of Yi Nationality, which means “the tiger cave in front of flat grassland”. It is the residence for “Alu tribe”, which is one of the “37 primitive tribes” of Yunnan in the Song and Yuan Dynasty. Alu Ancient Cave is a large-scale solution cave group, which is consisted by Luyuan Cave, Yuzhu Cave and Yusun River, with overall length of over 3000m. This cave is famous for long history, distinctive landscape, adventurous appearance and peerless scenery. There are lots of geological landscapes inside the cave, such as stalagmite, stalactite, stele, sheet, curtain, stone fall and stone flower. “Yi Nationality Park” was established outside the cave, where contains the solar calendar totem pole of Yi Nationality, cloud-water float stone and other ethnic landscapes.
