Introduction of Shanghai
Located in the East China, Shanghai is the junction between Yangtze River and Qiantang River, as well as a part of Yangtze Delta Continent. Shanghai is one of central four municipalities of China.
In the 19th century, Shanghai was only a small fishery town. However, due to its good harbor position, Shanghai developed rapidly and even became one of the foreign trading ports of China. After reform and open policy, since 1990, Shanghai started to progress vigorously, and then has become Chinas biggest economic center and the worlds biggest trading harbor.
