Leave for Jinan from Shenyang at night by hard sleeper.

Arrive at Jinan in the morning C the spring city of China. Visit Baotu Spring C the No.1 spring of world and the most beautiful spring mentioned by Lao She in Winter of Jinan, Daming Lake C one of the three historical relics of Jinan and the place for the engagement between Emperor Qianlong and Xia Yuhe in The Return of Pearl Princess (1.5 hours, at self expense of 30 Yuan), Quancheng Square C the busiest urban district of Jinan (about 1 hour) and Lotus Street C the most famous snack street of Jinan (about 45 minutes), and taste the special dishes of Ji'nan.

Leave for Qufu in the morning. After arrival, visit Confucian Temple C the temple listed in World Heritage (the place to sacrifice to Confucius, including the scenic spots of Kuiwen Pavilion, Tiantan Altar C the place where Confucius gives lecture, Dacheng Palace C one of the three oriental palaces, etc); Confucian Mansion C the residence for the son and grandson of Confucius; and Confucian Forest C the tombs for Confucius and his later generations and the worlds largest tomb forest for family (about 3 hours). Visit the Taishan Specials Store (about 40 minutes) and Wooden Fish Stone Exhibition Hall (about 40 minutes) en route.

4nd Day

Drive to Taishan Beyond-sky Scenic Area in the morning (5 hours). Take the local bus from Taishan Mountain to Zhongtian Gate (at self expense of 60 Yuan/Person); and climb up the mountain on foot or by cable car (at self expense of 80 Yuan). When climbing the mountain, tourist can view the Cloud Cutting Sword, Cloud Step Bridge, Guest Greeting Pine, Eighteen Bends, Celestial Street, Cliff Inscription, Wordless Monument, Green Cloud Shrine, Peak of the Heavenly Emperor, etc. Then return to Zhongtian Gate on foot (or by cable car at self expense). Go down the mountain by local bus and return to Shenyang by train.
