Drive to Qufu in the morning. After arrival, visit Confucian Temple C the temple listed in World Heritage (about 1 hour, the place to sacrifice to Confucius, including the scenic spots of Kuiwen Pavilion, Tiantan Altar C the place where Confucius gives lecture, Dacheng Palace C one of the three oriental palaces, etc); Confucian Mansion C the residence for the son and grandson of Confucius (about 45 minutes); and Confucian Forest C the tombs for Confucius and his later generations and the worlds largest tomb forest for family (about 45 minutes). Visit the army cooker exhibition (about 45 minutes) or geographical center (about 45 minutes) en route.

Drive to Taishan in the morning (about 1.5 hours) or climb up the mountain at about 9:20. Take local bus in Beyond-sky Scenic Area from Taishan Mountain to Zhongtian Gate (about 30 minutes, at self expense of 60 Yuan/Person/Round-trip); and climb up the mountain on foot or by cable car (at self expense of 80 Yuan/Person/Single-trip or 140 Yuan/Person/Round-trip, about 8-15 minutes). When climbing the mountain, tourist can view the Cloud Cutting Sword, Cloud Step Bridge, Guest Greeting Pine, Eighteen Bends, Celestial Street, Cliff Inscription, Wordless Monument, Green Cloud Shrine (at self expense of 5 Yuan/Person), Peak of the Heavenly Emperor (about 1 hour), etc. Then return to Zhongtian Gate on foot (or by cable car at self expense of 80 Yuan/Person) and go down the mountain by local bus. Visit China Wooden Fish Stone Exhibition Hall (about 40 minutes) and local specials store (about 20 minutes), and then return to Jinan.
